The watchband looks very simple and easy, however, it is actually more complicated than we thought.  Some customers might be confused why we always ask a lot of questions when they purchase a custom leather watch band, we always ask them to send us pictures of your watch and buckle to confirm if you purchased the proper leather watch strap. , that is because you may NOT know that different type of buckle requires a different type of leather watch bands.

There are various qualities: Why alligator leather strap so expensive

  • Lug size: different lug sizes for the watch end and the buckle end, 1mm would make difference.
  • Length: different wrist size requires different length. wrist size 15cm and wrist size 18cm requires a different length of watch bands
  • Thickness, different brands of watches have different thicknesses of leather watch straps.
  • Buckle type: different buckle type requires a different type of watch band and pin-holes.
  • Adapter: some watches have to have an adapter (also called connector or hardware) to connect the watch band and watch case together.
